I'm brand new on the NJMorris List. I've just joined and this is my first posting. William Ford married Isabelle Vanness, April 1877, in Caldwell, Morris County, NJ. Her parents were Anthony and Maria Vanness (from marriage record). His parents were not listed. William Ford was born in Pisacataway, NJ in June 1859. I found William's father living with him in the 1900 census in Newark, Essex County, NJ; his name was Oscar. I have been unable to find anything else on Oscar. Oscar was b. Oct. 1829 in NJ. Both parents were born in NJ. He was married ca. 1857. I'm looking for Oscar's wife and the rest of his family. I was not able to find Oscar in the 1880 nor 1870 censuses. Does anyone recognize the names? Would anyone have access to the 1870 and 1880 censuses for Morris County? Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Dorann Lam in KY
