Hi Jean, My great grandparents are buried there, and may have been members/ married/ etc. Can you see if there's anything on Henrietta Reinthaler(sp) and Samuel Mills - probably married early 1900's, had one son - Alfred G. Mills born around 1910 - baptised?. Thanks so much, Chris Chris Mills Keene, NH -----Original Message----- From: Jean Hansen <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, April 11, 2001 8:03 AM Subject: [NJMORRIS] Hilltop Pres. I had a question from a very reliable source that prompted me to explain the following-- > All lists came from "The First Presbyterian Congreation" Mendam N.J. written by Helen M. Wright M.A. published in 1939 > The Membership List was copied from the Manual Of The Mendham Presbyterian Church prepared by order of the Session. It was printed in 1855 by Anson D>F> Randolph, It is a booklet that is now rare, The dates are unknown in the beginning but the first Member was dismissed or deceased in 1753, Dates of admission were not known until 1797. > The baptisms were taken from the record of the Session. there were no records available until 3-17-1805, > The marriages were tabulated from the original "Catalogue of Church Members, Mendham" begun by Rev. Thos. S. Hastings in 1852. They begin Sept. 15 1852. > >
