In the late-1850s and the 1860s, were there any other ports by which English immigrants would arrive to in New Jersey other than Castle Garden, or NY? This is just "word of mouth" from one generation to the next in my family, but the story is that my G-Grandmother came from Wales to New Jersey (ca. 1860) and her uncle waited for her "at the Jersey Docks."
