My 3X great grandparents were James and Josephine FOSTER. I can only find them in the 1860 census and they were then residing in what was considered Chatham Twp., Morris Co., NJ. Their daughter, Mary Augusta FOSTER married John M. STEWART and they lived in EAst Newark, NJ Both died in the early 1900's. James FOSTER was born in England and Josephine was born in France. I do not know her maiden name. They had a son named Charles FOSTER. If anyone can help me with any additional information with this family, it would be most appreciative. Thank you.
