    3. By coincidence, I found the answer to your question last night, taking an idle moment to check out Spencers in the 1850 census. So you picked a good time to ask your question. Samuel Spencer and Prudence Mulford of Chatham had a daughter, Julia A. She was 19 in 1850 when the census taker went through. Samuel Spencer 1795-1866 was the son of William Spencer and Apphia (Affie) Genung. A lot of their lines have been traced ― Genung, Lyman, Hall. Julia was named for her aunt, Julia Ann (Spencer) Ashbee (d, 1843), youngest child of Wm and Affie. >>> "Donna DeVoe" <devoe@le-win.net> 02/05/04 07:32PM >>> Isaac Ike b. 1824 NJ. d. 1906 NJ. bur. in Presbyterian Cem, Sucussanna, NJ. marr. Julia Spencer b. 1830, had these children: Evaline, b. Oct 1847,marr. Hudson J. Butterworth Jacob b. Jan 1851 marr. Emma L. Tiger, Sarah b. Mar 1856, marr. Luther H. Titus, and Edward b. 11-10-1864. Any help would be great! thank you, Duane
