According to Griggstown New Jersey History John Rightmire supplied mules to pull the canal boats when a canal was built around 1834 and then opened a store. wheelwright business and cider mill. Since he was probably fairly prominent in your area is there a family History of this family available and In 1820 there is a John Rightmire in Roxbury township Morris County New Jersey census. This one may be buried in the Mount Olive Baptist Church cemetery in Morris County and died in 1857. Is this a different John Rightmire or the same one. I am interested in any information or family History on these Rightmire's or any other in the New Jersey area...I recently recieved some information about a James Rightmire who owned a store at Dean's Middlesex County New Jersey from Ceil Leedom who helped me with that family. Would like to know how they are all related...any info helpful. I am in Nebraska so doing this research long distance...Alice
