    3. Does anyone know about this event, which I believe occurred on Aug. 1, 1919? Does anyone know where this plant was located? Was it a predecessor of the Hercules plant in Kenvil, which had several memorable explosions over the years? Thanks for any information. Shirley in Ohio, but from NJ

    3. Shirley The Forcite Atlas Plant was at Landing and the Hercules plant at Kenvil. Both were at one point owned by E. I. du Pont de Nemours Powder Co.
