Hello, My connection to the SMITH family is through Rachel COBB, who married William HALSEY, JR., (family originally from Suffolk County, NY) on November 3, 1780. Rachel's parents were John COBB (son of Ebenezer COBB and Mehetable ROBINSON) and Rhoda SMITH (daughter of Richard and Sarah SMITH).
