Hello, I am new to the Morris site. I am looking for any trace of the MAIN family in Morris, NJ. My grandfather was supposed to have been born in Morris, Essex, NJ. There was some note of Newton. He was: Archibald A. Main b:28 July, 1809. He married Leah Jacobus of Bloomfield, Essex in Ohio on 27 Jan. 1836. They raised a family there. Does the MAIN family show in anyones records around that time or before? Does anyone know how Newton, Morris and possibly Essex fit together in local history? The boundaries seem to have changed a lot and I'm looking for a common location. Thank you, Tisha
