I have just joined the list, hoping to find evidence of a Conrad Adams. We do know that Conrad was married (wife's name unknown) and had three children William, Eleanor, and Elizabeth. Conrad and his three children are found in what is now, Columbia County, PA (Northumberland Co. then) on the 1790 census. He appeared in Pennsylvania about the same time that the Aikman family from Morris Co, NJ. arrived and both families were instrumental in the establishment of a Presbyterian Church there. It appears that Conrad's daughter, Eleanor (or Nell), married an Aikman son. I have been told that there were two churches, First Presbyterian in Morristown and also a Hilltop Church where the Aikman family had marriages recorded. Hopefully, there is a record of Conrad Adams attending one of these churches also. Have any of the church records of these two churches been filmed? Or, were there other Presbyterian churches in Morris County prior to 1790. Kay Winter Colorado Springs, CO
