    1. Re: [NJMORRIS] William Logan and Margaret Lewis
    2. I haven't been able to locate the parents of either husband. John McCullough moved to Trumbull County, Ohio about 1810 and settled near present day Canfield. That is now located in Mahoning County. He and Eunice had 6 children before he died on New Years Eve 1819. He is buried in Cornersburg Cemetery. Eunice lived another 42 years but never remarried. Other names in their line are Grove and Osborne. The only clue as to who Henry Hull's parents are is a will abstract from the New Jersey Archives for George Hull which mentions a son Henry. Henry and Mary Hull also migrated to Trumbull County and settled near present day Youngstown which is in Mahoning County now. They lived until the 1850's. I've had trouble tracing their children. Mary (Polly) married John Cowden and I have lost him entirely. A son William stayed in Youngstown and I have some information on his children. Hope this helps. Mike

    3. Mike, Do you have anymore information on Henry HULL and John MCCULLOUGH? I have both these surnames in my line, but neither of these first names. I was wondering if you had their parents, etc, so I could see if they tied into my tree. Joann My genealogy is based on information received from family recollections, interviews, phone calls, letters, mailing lists, books internet sites and the hard work of others. My info. should only be used as a guide and any information should be confirmed by you. This is a work in progress and any corrections or additions are greatly appreciated. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike Roberts <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2001 8:50 PM Subject: [NJMORRIS] William Logan and Margaret Lewis > Posted on: Morris County Queries > Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NJ/Morris/12014 > > Surname: Logan, Lewis, Van Vorhees, Hampton, Hull, Lanterman, Rush, Loree, > Lindley, Mcullough, Dille, Leonard, Cooper > ------------------------- > > HELP!!! 1. [NJMORRIS] FORD and VANNESS
    2. I'm brand new on the NJMorris List. I've just joined and this is my first posting. William Ford married Isabelle Vanness, April 1877, in Caldwell, Morris County, NJ. Her parents were Anthony and Maria Vanness (from marriage record). His parents were not listed. William Ford was born in Pisacataway, NJ in June 1859. I found William's father living with him in the 1900 census in Newark, Essex County, NJ; his name was Oscar. I have been unable to find anything else on Oscar. Oscar was b. Oct. 1829 in NJ. Both parents were born in NJ. He was married ca. 1857. I'm looking for Oscar's wife and the rest of his family. I was not able to find Oscar in the 1880 nor 1870 censuses. Does anyone recognize the names? Would anyone have access to the 1870 and 1880 censuses for Morris County? Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Dorann Lam in KY

    1. [NJMORRIS] Reverend Hooper Cumming: NAME OF HIS FIRST WIFE?
    2. Thanks everybody for your help. I received some great information about him and his family. Read at virtualnewarknj.com that his first wife drowned at the Passaic Falls two months after they were married (1811+). Did not list her name and she may be the link to my ancestor Abigail Gillespie. I've been teasingly referring Abigail as a Hooper Groupie this past week since she was following him around from Newark to Schenectady to Albany, NY. Many of you suggested I look for a family link...good idea and am still looking. Any information on his first wife is GREATLY appreciated. Again, thanks everybody. Melissa

    2. Hi: Does anyone have access to "Beecher's Index of Presbyterian Ministers from 1706-1881" or "American Presbyterian Denomination's Who's Who" if it covers late 1700's and first part of 1800's. I would love to get information on REVEREND HOOPER CUMMING and where he preached. This would help me tremendously. Thanks, Melissa

    2. Judie Caroleo
    3. Richard, Carl may be just as much a victim as you were. I received both his messages from the list and neither contained an attachment. I just rechecked. I looked into this particular virus at length today, since it was infecting a number of people on another list I belong to. CNET had an article that was fairly informative at: http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1003-200-5594667.html?tag=mainstry Also, most of these lists are setup NOT to receive attachments at the server. Is this list set up that way as well? Eliminates an awful lot of headaches to subscribers.
