I posted this a couple of days ago, but never saw it appear and I did not see it in the archive and so I am re-posting. I appologize if it's a duplicate. I am looking for information on the parents of Anna ARMSTRONG, b 19 Feb 1821 NJ, d 3 Feb 1890 Jackson Twp, Ocean, NJ. She married 12 Sep 1854 Charles Henry Appelget, b 8 Mar 1822 NJ, d 24 Dec 1889 Bennett's Mills, Ocean, NJ. Anna and Charles are both buried in the Harmony Methodist Church Cemetary, Jackson Twp, Ocean, NJ. The only information that I have on Anna's parents comes from her death certificate which states that they were Francis and Jane ARMSTRONG both born in Ireland. Can anybody provide some suggestions on how to research this? I believe that I had seen somewhere that ARMSTRONG is realy a Scottish name. So I guess this would make them what is termed Scotch-Irish?
