    3. Hi Cheryl, Yes, there is a deed index by surname for Burlington County - also Colonial Conveyances, which are kept separately from the Deed Indexes. As for Monmouth County, I know I have used one for that county as well. I thought that was under East Jersey Proprietors, though, so am unclear as to how I obtained it. I may be wrong about the EJP, however. I am also unclear as to whether or not the EJP have turned over their indexes to the NJ State Archives - they used to be in the County Seats of each county affected by the EJP.
