I am looking for Nathaniel Dickenson who was born in Monmouth about 1775, he married Sarah Burdge who was born about 1779 also in Monmouth. They were married on May 14, 1797 in Monmouth. Strong possibility that Nathaniel died prior to 1836, as Sarah may have been known as the Mrs. Dickenson (widow) at Howell Works. Sarah Burdge's parents were: John Burdge born about 1745 in Monmouth and passed before 1830 in Monmouth. Her mother was Mary VanNote born about 1750 and having died sometime after 1830. Is there a list other than on Ancestry.com of men who served in the War of 1812. I haven't been able to locate either of them in a cemetery yet, or in census records that I've been able to find. Any thoughts or directions would be appreciated. Thanks! dottie
