A Slocum's of New Jersey Reunion has been scheduled for Saturday, October 19th, at the OceanPlace Resort, Long Brach, NJ. Located "At the foot of Broadway", it marks the location of the wresting match between John Slocum and the Indian champion, that allowed John and Nathaniel Slocum to settle there. The event is a dutch luncheon in the public dining area from 11AM to 2PM. Meet the current Slocum residents of the area and swap acquaintenances and family lines. Find that cousin you never knew you had. Learn of the important cemeteries around the area.
