Oil painting of nine Bradley Beach servicemen who were killed in World War II have been donated to the Bradley Beach Historical Society by resident John B. Gregg. They were painted by artist David S. Tanner in 1948 and hung in the Bradley Beach American Legion until that organization sold the building. The pictures were recently found in the basement of the VFW Building in Asbury Park and rescued by Mr. Gregg. The Bradley Beach Historical Society is raising funds for the restoration of the paintings. We viewed them last night. What a wonderful treasurer. Borough Historian and President of the Historical Society, Shirley Ayers is seeking information on the nine men in the pictures. Only one family seems to remain in Bradley Beach. The names are: Robert Broedel Cecil Cahill Edwin Dempsey Walter E. Dessart Murry Dribben John Ford Walter Handwell Ray Palermo Father Poli George R.
