You know how sometimes you look at something and see if for the first time? Well I just re-read a document of my grandfather's and I am wondering if anyone knows what Railroad line ran thru Middletown Township to Red Bank in the 1920-50's? It says on my granddad's naturalization papers "battery man" and I know he used to do something for the Railroad that ran right by his house on Oak Hill Rd across from the cemetary (and right off of Rt. 35). Is there a repository somewhere for records for that railroad? If I can find out which one it was, I could start checking. Thanks in advance for any help. Beth Cherkowsky [email protected]
