Saturday I went to the NJ Historical Society to look at original newspapers. They have a lot of material that is unique and is found nowhere else, including inscriptions of gravestones from various cemetaries, all over the state. http://www.jerseyhistory.org/ THe newspapers I looked at are the only copies available anywhere in the world and they are crumbling. I hated to touch them. I wish they could be scanned and microfilmed, but I understand that the cost to do so is quite large. Karen
