You can check their holdings for Vineland at NJDARM:New Jersey State Archives Holdings: Department of Institutions & Agencie . These records are considered confidential. The archives also has other hospital records but all fall under confidentiality regulations. You can find their holdings on their website. I was able on a trip to the Archives several years ago to obtain my g-g-grandfather's records from 1890 and also g-g-g-grandmother's from 1850 from Trenton State Hospital but I had to sign a form stating my relation. You might contact them and see what procedure is required at this point. The fact that the records were from 1850 and 1890 made no difference regarding confidentiality. They were still considered protected. Peggy Rossi ______________________________
