I am no expert, but my recollection of Horner is that he is a biased jerk. I should take another look at him. It has been so many years. Most major libraries in Monmouth County have the standard references. Visitors and researchers may wish to visit the Middletown Public Library at 55 New Monmouth Road. The $8.5 million expansion and total renovation includes a New Jersey History Room. On-line services include ProQuest and History Quest, both available for in-library use only, although many on-line resources are available to cardholders at home.
