Those with extensive interests in NJ biography are advised to secure a copy of Donald Sinclair's "A New Jersey Biographical Index", which indexes the contents of many collective biographical sources by subject name. It was published by Genealogical Publishing in 1993. The History Quest search engine is particularly helpful as it will secure references to individuals mentioned in the biographical entries of others.
