I am researching a Thomas Cooper in Monmouth County and find a reference to land received by Thomas from his father Benjamin, from a deed dated1744. I have been unable to find the deed. Any ideas where “Shoal Harbor” would have been??? Does anyone know if early deeds recorded at Perth Amboy are also recorded in Monmouth Co??
