I was born and lived on the Anthony Brown homestead . I have worked on trying to discover the parents of John Brown b. 1753. I secured DAR papers on John Brown, which are sketchy to say the least. John Brown died intestate; his property was two different parcels "1/2 mile below Eatontown, on the Road to Deal". Elizabeth who lived to be 99 yr. old m. abt 1800 Amos Elmer. Elizabeth Pearce and John Brown were not young when they married and so both could have been married before and had families. I am hopeful someone will read this and add some light to what I have. I would like to know more about Abigail Brown Morris' issue. Are there documents somewhere that she gave that tells more about her parents. Any help would be appreciated. I have worked on this for 40 yrs. +. Thank you, Jackie Goslin Davin, Once a Jersybel
