Hi Gary, The Manasquan area was part of Howell Twp in 1850. Wall Twp, which at that time included present day Manasquan, Brielle, Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Belmar, was partitioned off of Howell in 1851. Prior to 1801, the area was part of Shrewsbury Twp. Steve Thorne
