My ancestors Doughty Reed/phebe Spragg married in Monmouth County, lived in 1830 New Hanover Township Burlington, and I've found mention of him in Stafford Twp. Is that Ocean? Anyway heres my problem...Someone has just given me birthdates/deathdates for them: Doughty Reed b. Feb 24 1783 d. dec 12, 1845 Phebe (Spragg) Reed b. Feb 9, 1780 d.Dec 13, 1838 They were given these dates by a relative but not the source...I'm guessing that it may have been a tombstone inscription..My question: What cemeteries in Monmouth County would be closest to these other areas? I havent located them in New Hanover,Burlington so they may be buried in a nearby Monmouth Cemetery.
