Stillwell books - Historical and Genealogical Miscellany, NY 4v.1972 pages. Our San Antonio Genealogical & Historical Library doesn't seem to have all 4 volumes. My sister in Houston will check in the Clayton Genealogical Library (an endowed library under the care of the Houston Public Library which I am sure has those books. I would be happy if my John Stillwell is the same John Stillwell "cited as a revolutionary war participant who tried with others to stave off the tories in their whaleboats." We had been under the impression that line had Tories among them but maybe not and also that they were farmers. Wish I could just jump in the car and check out more in NJ! That was interesting about Lester Stillwell and the shark attack. How sad! So that Atlantic coast really does have "Jaws" after all! Thanks for your note. I will put it with the other puzzle pieces and soon I hope, it will fit in. Sincerely, Esther Wright San Antonio TX ewright210@aol.com
