Time for an update. The project is plugging along. (For those new to the list - Some of us are transcribing for internet publication the Monmouth Co. 1910 Census from donated CDs at home.) Things have been really quiet. I know I am finding it a bit harder than I thought it might be in some ways and easier in other ways. The CDs are great to work with, but I am finding it hard to actually sit down and work on my assingment. That old self discipline thing. Time to update me. How is everyone else doing? Some, like Rick, have been working really hard I know. Would everyone email me with an update, no matter what you have been able to get done so far, even if you haven't started yet, hey, I understand how it is. If Julie Baechle is out there, I don't know if you are getting my messages, please contact me. (That is one problem with email, you never really know if people receive the mail you send, sometimes it must sit in cyberspace of an inactive address, where is that anyway?) I had her down for Middletown and Holmdel, and haven't heard from her, so they may be available again, I don't know. If anyone has decided that they can't do it after volunteering, I understand. Please contact me. I have received two more donations, and one more volunteer. I have CDs still available. and about 1/3 of the EDs left for assingment. I recevied an anonymous donation from a lister (I know who but she doesn't want her real name published) back a month or two ago . Also, Marion Currier sent $20.00 and I mailed her a #900 CD and paper forms. She will try Allenhurst, ED 56. I had another email crash recently and lost all my mail folders. So I need to type in my old assingment list of EDs and volunteers, unless someone has my old message and could send it back to me. The email is there I just have to find it, but right now don't have the time to do it. This happened before, I guess I save too many messages. I will be away, but not leaving through Newark airport :-), and not answering my mail starting Monday for 2 weeks, hubby will be here gathering mail, but answers will have to wait. Please think about volunteering if you haven't all ready. It is a great project. If you want to try just doing a few pages, let me know. Sandy Hook Proving Grounds is only 2 pages and still available! Englishtown or Raritan are only 5. I was surprised that the big places went first. Still available are Atlantic Highlands, Atlantic Twp, Avon by the Sea?, Bradley Beach, Highlands, Howell and Farmingdale, West Farms Village, Englishtown, Manalapan X2, Manasquan, Ft. Hancock, Millstone, Raritan Twp (Keansburg), Raritan , Red Bank X3, Rumson, Sea Bright, South Shrewsbury and West Long Branch. Middletown? Holmdel? Anita
