Bertha: (For those of you who don't know where Morrisville, PA is, it's located in Bucks County right across the Delaware River from Trenton, NJ...Not so far from Monmouth Co. Lots of Monmouth names there too including Mount, Poland, Ridgeway, Cadwallader, Pidcock, Layton (I think) and others.) That building, to the best of my knowledge, is still called Summerseat. I grew up learning to twirl a baton, do cartwheels and just having a good time on the lawn of that building. When Morrisville celebrated it's sesquicentennial in 1954, Summerseat was featured on a piece of Pennsbury Pottery. During the 1950's the building was used as offices for the Superintendent of Schools, the school nurse (Mrs. Okurowski) and classroom space for instrumental music...I had violin lessons there every week for 7 years!
