Celebrates Birthday In honor of her tenth birthday, Miss Janet Haberstick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haberstick, entertained a number of her young friends yesterday afternoon at her home, 403 Eighteenth Avenue, South Belmar. The guests were entertained with numerous games with awards being presented to Lillian Lorber and Ruth Brown. Following the games refreshments were served. Among those present were Ruth Quelch, Ida Morris, Kathleen Ofeldt, Betty White, Cornella Hamilton, Lucile Huber, Katherine Rick, Elaine Carlson, Flora May Sagul, Florence Stevenson, Mrs. Carl Schongar, Mrs. John Stevenson, and Mrs. Charles Haberstick. Births Long Branch, April 4 - Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Driver, of Woodville, are the parents of a daughter born this morning at the Monmouth Memorial hospital. Mr. and Mrs. William Fry, of 47 Ridge Avenue, are the parents of a son born yesterday at the Monmouth Memorial hospital. Deaths Funeral services for Charles Pierson, who died at the home of his brother, Jake Pierson, East 54th St., New York, last Friday, were held Sunday evening with interment yesterday. The deceased was well known in Deal whee he had been in charge of polo ponies owned by Phillip Lehman. He had also been a member of of the Deal fire company, representatives which attended the funeral and also sent a blanket of roses. Debbie
