    1. [NJMONMOU] Last will & testament of Robert Morris
    2. If anyone is interested, while searching through microfilm at a local library, I found an article in the NY Times from 1937 that reads in part: The will of Robert Morris, one of the men who financed the American Revolution, but who spent many of the later years of his life in prison because he was unable to meet his debts, has been found by the Federal Writers Project in the office of the Register of Deeds of McDowell County, at Marion, NC. Although the will is filed under the date of November 10, 1795, it was acknowledged by Morris as his last will and testament on June 16, 1804. If anyone would like the article, which lists his wife and children, and what he left them, I have transcribed it in MS Word 95, version 7.0. I will send it as an attachment to your private email address. Debbie
