My family link is thru Peter Bennett Poland who married Mary Lester Layton & their daughter Sarah Ann Poland who married Daniel Brown. Samuel Bennett's Rev. War pension file included his service record & mentions his wife Phebe, son Nehemiah Bennett, grandsons Samuel & William.
