A new member of the list posted the address for the MCGS recently, so for those of you who don't know about the society here's an FYI: Annual membership in the society is $15 for individuals or $20 for families. Current officers: Co-Presidents Beverly Yackel and Nancy Oster Heydt; Vice President Delores Olson; Treasurer Bill Sweetnam, and Secretary Doreen Parks. The society newsletter, "The Monmouth Connection", has received "Runner-up" in the National Genealogical Society's newsletter competition in the "County/Local Genealogical Societies" category.
