As I wrote in my e-mail to Hermon, we have just returned form a long visit to Palestine, Isreal, etc. and am not quite ready to dig into the family files for a few days at least although I realy can't wait to resume.. Rappleyea and Remsen do appear in my files. I was born on the Schenck/Rappleyea/Thorne in Pleasant Valley near Holmdel, Monmouth, New Jersey, USA and my father and I "rescued" family documents before the family farm was sold.
