My half sister Norma Markovitch (nee Chuntz) left the UK just after WW11. Her husband is David Markovitch & they have 2 sons. We lost touch after our father died in London back in the 60s. I think they lived in the Bradevelt area of NJ. Are there any leads as Norma will be in her mid 70s now and with me in my mid 60s I don't want to leave a rapprochement too late. Hi All -- Here's a site that lists all pre-1877 newspapers in NJ, along with much more valuable research material. I don't know the particulars of the site -- looks like there's a probably a fee involved - frankly, I didn't read the entire material. But, www.americanantiquarian.org looks like a rather helpful place. Once there, click on SITE INDEX, then scroll to NEWSPAPERS. Keep well all -- Terri

But, you could try sending your query to these lists I started which focus on genealogy/and or history.....one for Long Branch memories, and two for Pullman Company researchers: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LongBranchNJmemories http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PullmanCompanyResearchers PULLMAN-COMPANY-L-request@rootsweb.com All three lists are free but you will need to register or subscribe to send posts. Maybe some of the subscribers will know something about the Pullman cottage. There is also a surname list for Pullman....can't remember whether it was at Rootsweb or Genforum or both. On the Long Branch page, there is a Links section which may give you addresses you can contact, like the historical society, etc. I too, was interested in learning more about the cottage but I haven't gone looking yet. My ancestor from Long Branch worked for the Pullman Company around the turn of the century, and I was curious to know if he ever knew the Pullmans, etc. Good luck in your search and if you find something interesting, I'd love to hear about it! If anybody would like to join the groups above, we'd love to have you! Peggy Dyas
