Hi Listers, I live in Cardiff,Wales,U.K. and am interested in a Morgan family who lived in Ocean Grove and Astbury Park. Tali was manager and conductor of the Summer Music Festivalsat Ocean Grove for 17 years, directing choruses of 1200 voices and orchestra of 100,at the Central Methodist Church,Brooklyn. several of his children were music teachers. Mary Jane died in 1938 and Tali died 30 June 1941.I would love to find their burials. If anyone on the list can help I would be most obliged.I am willing to do reciprocal research here in South Wales. regards, Lynn John(Cardiff) dollyn@ntlworld.com
Thanks Jackie, no hurry. Only other spelling I have seen is Brouwer which you did not mention. I never heard the name Bruere used in connection with the Brewer/Brower/Brouwer family. Ken
Hi Anita, I would love to do Bradley Beach if it's still available. Just let me know what I have to do. Debbie

If anyone recognizes the family on p. 573, line 13, MATHIAS HUGHES, I would appreciate hearing from you. Mathias is my ancestor. He was living on PEARL ST., Mt. Holly, in 1860. He had two other sons not listed here, so I assume they had moved on...one was WOODROW HUGHES, age 18 in 1860, and the other was CHARLES HUGHES, age 16 in 1860. Woodrow Hughes is my line. TIA. Here's some info on this cemetery that may be helpful . Diane Old Episcopal Cemetery of Allentown, Monmouth County, New Jersey This small well attended cemetery is on Lakeview Drive, Allentown, New Jersey. The cemetery is divided into four rows. A plaque erected in 1971 gives the following information: One of the oldest cemeteries in Monmouth County, used by Presbyterians and Episcopalians, it was the first site of Christ Church Parish from 1730 to 1808. Evacuating Philadelphia with approximately 13, 000 troops, General Sir Henry Clinton, Commander-in-Chief of the British forces, encamped here June 24 and 25, 1778 and here made his decision to head for Sandy Hook; thus encountering General Washington at Freehold on June 28th. The smallest part of this cemetery remains, with headstones dating from 1734 to 1850. Dedicated by the Allentown Historical Society, 1971 Listed below are the graves that are marked either with a field stone or gravestones. The information given is taken from four different sources in order to present the most complete reading of the stones: Stillwell, John E. I do have numerous Bennett's of the area in my families. At Wall where a lot of my mother's family rest (my grandparents and great grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and great Aunts and Uncles and cousins by the dozens). I believe Nina Herbert (who may be sister to Cora and there was another sister Hilda I think) passed over in the last couple of yrs. She lived right up the street from the cemetery on Wall Rd. in a house that sat back from the street more than the others. I think there is still family members living in that house.
