My husband noticed a small cemetery right outside Middletown South High School while he was fixing phone wire on the roof of the school. We went up today to take a better look. I noticed the main surname to be Patterson. Most of the 8 graves are pretty much unreadable. Hello List, While transcribing the 1850 Camden County, New Jersey census I found an Alms House in Washington Township. I should be done transcribing the township by the end of the month hopefully and will give you the url to lookup the Alms House. Just thought you all might be interested as I have seen requests asking about the Alms Houses of New Jersey. Gail Stillings-Murphy

Hello- I remember someone here giving me info on the marriage of John N Reid and Margaret Chasey. Does anyone have any other Reid Marriages? I have the index from the Monmouth archives, but was wondering if anyone had the actual records. I'm looking for years around 1830 to 1870 roughly. - Thanks Specifically, I am trying to prove that Mary Nesbit was John N Reid's mother if I can. His mother's name was Mary, his father's name was George W Reid. There is a record of a marriage in 1823 of a George W Reid to Mary Nesbit. I'm hoping that finding John N Reid's siblings and their marriages might help... Thanks- -Jeff

Hi- Thanks for this. I read about it too late but it is interesting to me. My great grandfather (Josheph E Miller) lived with Tunis Denise after his father Alfred Miller died while serving. Did anyone on the list buy it? If so, is there a way I could get a copy or scan?
