And if you have a few extra minutes, I was just wondering...what sorts of things do you discuss at the S.R. Historic & Preservation Society Meetings? What do you feel are the best resources kept by the town? My entire family was married a/o raised in South River after the turn of the last century. I often wonder what I would be able to find archived there. Over a year ago, when I started digging into my ancestry, I thought to myself how easy it was going to be, since all of my great-grandparents were Polish Catholics who resided in South River. On the contrary, I have located generations more information about my husband's branches immigrating from Ireland, Germany and England simply over the Internet. Thanks for writing. :) Kim
