Time to check in and see if anyone else is interested in the Haggerty and McSpaden families in New Brunswick. Daniel and Nancy Haggerty look to have arrived in the US 16 May 1826, and first show up in NB in 1830, purchasing land. James McSpaden and family arrived in the US 31 May 1832, with 3 young sons, including a 2 year old! He then hid until about 1845 when he applied for citizenship and purchased land in NB. James` son Henry married Eliza Haggerty. Roman Catholics, they were members of St. Peter`s. I was also wondering if they have made any progress in opening up their archives. I have had limited success in the past, with a promise of better days ahead. Take care, Kevin
