    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Dickinson, Fitz Randolph, Mundy,Carman,Cranford Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/zQB.2ACE/86.114.669.1.1 Message Board Post: There's some information in Patty B. Myers' book, ANCESTORS AND DESCENDANTS OFLEWIS ROSS FREEMAN with Related Families, Penobscot Press, 1995. ISB #0-89725-184-9 I bought my copy from her, but don't imagine she has any more. She'd told me she was going to donate books to various libraries, so you might get one thru interlibrary loan if you library doesn't have one. Also, Salt Lake City has a copy you might get thru a Family History Center. Meanwhile, I'll copy some of whatshe has - she's given me permission to do this so long as whoever uses her material gives credit to her. (She told me she spent about 30 years researching & documenting the material.) p. 26 "Abraham, b. 10 Oct 1743, m/1 Abigail Clarkson; m/2 Amy Quick..." (He's noted as a son of Isaac Freeman, whose will is on p. 25, and includes the following: "1771, March 25 - Freeman, Isacc, of Woodbridge, Middlesex Co., will of....Son Abraham to whom I gave a lot of land which he has sold, L 20." P. 57. Abraham Freeman ... d. at the home of his son, Dr. James Clarkson Freeeman, Lancaster Pa., 19 Dec 1828...DAR has him listed as 'Abraham Fitz Freeman, b. England.' This, of course, is incorrect. He served during the Revolutionary War as Lieutenant and Captain of Middlesex Co., N.J., Militia 1776. (DAR 511251)..." 12 Children are listed on pp. 57 & 58; No. 12 is "John Fitz, b. 13 Jul 1790, m. Harriet Alston." Directly beneath the list of children, is: "('Emigrant Register, Freeman' from Special Collections and Archives at Rutgers Univ. Lib., New Brunswick, N.J.; Wiullis Freeman, Genealogical Notes by Carroll Gardner, Rutgers Univ. Lib.)" Onn p. 147 is the listing for John Fitz Freeman, giving his vital statistics, and listing eight children, who are listed individually elsewhere in the book. Hope this helps.
