Katharine was the daughter of Jacob VAN PELT (d: 22 Sep 1830) and Maria DAVOUST (d: 5 Aug 1826). They were married on 20 Jan 1774. The following are their children as recorded in the above referenced bible. 1. John VAN PELT was born on 13 Jan 1775. He died on 13 Apr 1783. 2. Marty VAN PELT was born on 9 Feb 1776. 3. Isaac VAN PELT was born on 2 Dec 1777. He died on 8 Jan 1778. 4. Sarah VAN PELT was born on 25 Nov 1779. 5. Aaron VAN PELT was born on 1 Jun 1781. 6. Mary VAN PELT was born on 14 Aug 1783. 7. Katharine VAN PELT was born on 9 Dec 1785. She died on 3 Jan 1837. 8. David VAN PELT was born on 28 Aug 1787. 9. Jacob VAN PELT was born on 5 May 1789. 10. John VAN PELT was born on 13 May 1791. 11. Abigail VAN PELT was born on 20 Jul 1793. She died on 24 Nov 1840. 12. Lydia VAN PELT was born on 10 Dec 1797. 13. Elizabeth VAN PELT was born on 1 Oct 1799. The above Aaron might be yours, however I have never been able to find the parents of either Jacob or Maria. Does anyone on this list happen to know?

Frank: Have you checked out the Staten Island records? I believe my Van Pelts came from there to NJ.
