NJ and need more info. I descend from EDWARD CROWELL (1644-1689) and his wife Mary Lothrop who came to New Jersey in the late 1600s from Yarmouth, Barnstable Co. MA. His daughter MARY CROWELL (1674-1720+) married the younger Samuel Dennis (see below). I also descend from the Dennis family of Woodbridge, NJ - who also came from the Cape Cod area. My ancestors are SAMUEL DENNIS (1645-1709) and his son SAMUEL DENNIS(1672-1720). I understand that one or both of these men were quite prominent in Woodbridge, but lack specific details.
