If so, I spoke to the manager of the cemetery; they are required by the Archdiocese of NY to send that letter out to anyone whose ancestors DID NOT purchase "Perpetual Care." It means little. They do not expect people to pay for debts incurred generations ago. They do this, so you know what you would have to pay IF you plan to bury someone there in the future. Go call that cemetery. All they can do is tell you no, and my hunch is they won't. Let me know what happens, Barb
