Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zQB.2ACE/1819 Message Board Post: I have recently moved to New Jersey, and am trying to figure out how to prove whether or not Rebecca, who married Charles SALYER in Woodbridge, New Jersey in 1715, is really a Bloomfield as many believe. (Charles was born 23 December 1697 in Woodbridge and is the son of Charles SALYER, Sr. and Mary JONES.) Rebecca was born 1697 in Woodbridge, and some believe her parents were Ezekiel Bloomfield and Hope FitzRandolph. Where should I begin to search for birth and marriage records that might have clues? I live near Woodbridge, but am not very familiar with the area yet.
