The following is transcribed from that document. "On another occasion Washington retreated across the Delaware, his brother Captain Joachim Hulick, his brother James Hulick (a private) and hisself, Jonathan Combs, Richard Sutton (the before mentioned fifer who took a musket), Cornelius Luedeker, Abraham Lott, who were the deponent neighbors, took up there arms with the intention to join the Continental Army, not to enlist but to remain in a district company under the command of Joachim Hulick."
