She lived in the South Amboy/Sayreville, MIddlesex County, NJ area until 1960, when she moved to Bayville, Ocean County, NJ. In 1977 she moved to Pine Ridge at Whiting, Ocean County, NJ. She relocated to Connecticut last year. She was born in South Amboy, NJ on September 11, 1919, the daughter of the late Walter and Marietta Bright Slover. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Harvey Holland; a brother, Vernon Slover; a sister, Mabel Slover Cosgrove; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Anne McIntyre. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris and Chester Niedzwiecki of Orwigsburg, PA., Carol Murcko and John Bialowans of East Lyme, CT., and Edith Haytas of Toms River, NJ; three grandchildren, Christine Haytas, John Niedzwiecki and Dorothy Niedzwiecki Sterner; and two great-grandchildren, Emily Sterner and Mason Sterner. A Memorial Service will be held on March 10, 2004 at the Chapel at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ. Interment of the Urn will take place in the cemetery Urn Garden at that time. Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London, CT., is in charge of arrangements.
