Jill, I just saw your post and I am wondering what Coriell family you are related to? My husband is related to Elias Coriell and he was the son of David and Also I have a Richard Coryell/Coriell. I notice your posting asking for more info on the Coriells. Elias Coriell, son of David was born Aug. 22, 1741 and bapt.Feb 28, 1742. Elia died Jan 6, 1820 He married Sarah Runyon and she died Jan 23, 1820. Both were buried in Sterling, NJjust back of Miss Marselis, corner of Chestnut and North Avenues. They had 2 sons and 4 daughters. Richard Coriell, the son of Abraham Coriell and 1st wife Esther Heath was born Feb 3, 1775 and died Dec. 13, 1778. He married Sarah Smalley about 1798. She was born April 8, 1774 and died March 31, 1778 at the home of her son Ira Smalley Coriell who had a brother, Ricard R. Coriell. This Richard was born Dec. 1, 1808. He first married Margaret Elliott and they had three children. Later he married Sarah Peterson. Other brothers were Abner Smalley Coriell; Andrew S. Coriell, and Abraham S. Coriell.
