Hadley Airport was in South Plainfield. The remains of it are alongside 287, there a couple of hotels there and a White Castle. The airport in question was between Oak Tree Road and New Dover Road and Wood Avenue the GSP went right through it. I believe it was some sort of a feeder for the military as in the area was a BASE which took up much of Colonia. Little known information.
