The first wife of Willem Klaas/Classen was Elsje Kroesen, dtr. of Neeltje who was the dtr. of Jan Pietersen van Husum and his first wife Ellsje. After Neeltje's husband Garret Dircksen Kroesen died, she remarried to Volckert Henderiksen Bries who like Willem Klaas/Classen was a descendant of Claes Corneliszen van Schouw. Descendents of Volckerkt's father, Hendrick Volckertsen Bries. Margaret Buckelew married Josiah Clawson and moved to Pennsylvania. His brother Richard (all mentioned in the Will of their father Thomas Clawson in Middlesex.Co. in turn mentioned in the Will of his father Willem/William Klaas/Claesen/Clawson. Josiah's brother Richard married Rachael Buckelew, dtr. of the younger Frederick Buckelew on 5 April 1764. Richard and Rachael moved to Virginia with the other sons of Thomas Clawson. . Douglas C.
