The New Brunswick Public Library has a listing online of Willow Grove Cemetery. I came across this information yesterday and was interested in the Stalee family. My great grandfather born in 1859 New Brunswick was Walton Stalee Reed. As I searched through the list, I found a Walton S. Stalee listed. There are others listed for plot 72- Jane Stalee, Walton S. Gertrude M. Nevius Stalee, Woodbury H. Stalee, Emiline Stalee Tappen, George F. Stalee, Willie W. Stalee. Ann Bell Stalee wife of William L. Stalee is also there. She died July 16, 1866 aged 62 yrs 9m 19 days. I have not been able to connect the Stalee family with my Reed family, but I thought it very interesting to have that name in my family. Walton S.'s father was Walton E. Stalee and he was a blacksmith according to 1860 census. My gggrandfather John Reed was also a blacksmith and named his first son Walton Stalee. Wonder if they were friends? Hope you receive this information. Good Luck! Sue Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
