Benjamin and William Reed were brothers of my gg grandfather John Reed. They were all blacksmiths. Benjamin died in 1880, John in 1890. Benjamin also had a son named Benjamin so the 1899-1900 directory info must be of him. The photo I have is of the Reed brothers in front of the shop. It is a copy sent from a distant relative. The other picture is in the book about New Brunswick. That picture is c. 1890 and there is no one standing by it. In fact it looks like it may have been closed up at that point. I can see about scanning it if you'd like to see even though it is not the Farley shop. Sue Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
